Welcome
Welcome to the official website of the Dunster Country Fair, West Somerset’s biggest Country Fair offering fun and entertainment for the whole family!
In addition to the main ring attractions which has a busy schedule throughout the day, the Village Green also has lots of demonstrations and interactive displays, there’s a large number of Trade Stands, the wonderful Craft Tents plus plenty of food and liquid refreshment on offer!
Dunster Country Fair is held in the picturesque setting of Dunster Castle Lawns by kind permission of The Dunster Estate. This year the fair will be celebrating 45 years from the early beginnings, as a Donkey Derby held in West Somerset. The Dunster Country Fair has grown to become one of West Somerset’s premier attractions - it’s a fun day out for all the family!
We sincerely hope you will join us at Dunster Country Fair on Wednesday 24 July 2024, starting at 10 am

The South West Shetland Pony Group were thrilled to once again be invited to run a Shetland Show as part of Dunster Country Fair. It’s such a beautiful setting on the Lawns beneath Dunster Castle. The entries were really good this year with no less than 16 ponies entered in one class.
We must say a big thank you to everyone who supported the Show and to our Judge Fiona Hammond along with her Steward Fiona Lawrence. There were some hard decisions to be made. The Show was particularly successful for David and Sally Bowden taking both the Supreme Champion and Reserve Supreme titles with their Bellever Morning
Melody and Lakehead Moonstone.
