Essential Career Ticket Scheme
Essential Carers Tickets are offered at a discounted rate of £10 and are only valid when accompanying a disabled person with a FULL PRICE or ADVANCE ticket. Evidence of carer status must be provided at the main gate and these tickets are only available on the day.
All applications require evidence of essential carers status. Please bring at least one of the following documents (printed or scanned copies are acceptable):
- Middle or Higher Rate DLA for care and/or mobility
- Receipt of personal independence payment (PIP)
- Evidence of being of being severely sight-impaired
- Recognised assistance dog ID card
In addition, pushers of manual wheelchairs and mobility scooter users will receive a discounted ticket rate of £10 on the day only.
Accessibility
We have tried to make the Dunster Country Fair as accessible as possible to visitors with disabilities. However, visitors should take into consideration the terrain of the Fair site and how the weather conditions may affect the ability to get around. We are unable to provide mobility scooter or wheelchair hire.
There is a limited parking area provided for Blue Badge holders in the main car park on a first come first served basis. On entering the main car park please ensure that the car parking staff are aware that you hold a Blue Badge and you will be directed to the appropriate area. Please note car parking is on grass.
There are numerous toilet blocks situated around the showground which include disabled facilities.
Membership
Membership to the Dunster Country Fair is great value at just £45 and offers the following benefits to members:
- Members badge and one guest badge (extra badges can be purchased)
- Car pass and parking in the Member’s Enclosure which is adjacent to the Main Ring
- Complimentary refreshments served all day.
